The veteran Journalists Association has published two books in English and Telugu entitled “Our Legends of fourth Estate” and “Mana Patrikeya Velugulu”.
These books will be released for distribution by veteran film actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Gnanapeeth awardee Dr C Narayana Reddy at 4 pm on October 18 at Somajiguda Press Club. Five veteran journalists T Narayan Pilly, N Ganesan, G N Bhushan, Aziz Qureshi and R Akhileshwari will be honoured on this occasion.
The books contain short profiles and photos, of more than one thousand journalists starting from Veeresalingam (1874) to present generation.
It is multi coloured, profusely illustrated and has many rare cherishable photographs of journalistic events in the State. The monumental books priced at Rs 300 and Rs 400 respectively would be offered to all on the venue for half rate.
